Tomas Parrish-Chynoweth is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on the unceded Lands of the Wurundjeri-Balluk. Their work centres questions of justice, care and ancestry, often exploring queer lineage and familial ties. They are a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, and Sydney Conservatorium of Music where they are also a doctoral candidate researching care practices within music making and composing their first symphony. This year, their play threadbare premiered at St Martins Youth Arts Centre to rave reviews, which "heralds an exciting new voice in parrish-chynoweth" (Kate Mulqueen, ArtsHub). Acting credits include: Our Monster's Name is Jerry (2025, Theatreworks), In Our Blood (2023, ABC and Hoodlum Entertainment), What If If Only (2022, Melbourne Theatre Company) and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (2022, Hayes Theatre Company).
