Jorrden Daley is a prolific genre-focused screenwriter and director based in Sydney, Australia. Her directorial debut, found footage horror WELCOME BACK TO MY CHANNEL, premiered at SXSW Sydney in 2025. It was one of five films nominated for Best Feature and won the Audience Award.
Her debut feature as a screenwriter, family drama THE LONGEST WEEKEND, premiered at Sydney Film Festival in June 2022 and was named Australian Feature of the Year at Melbourne Queer Film Festival. Jorrden has written on record breaking Stan series BUMP and received two rounds of development funding from Screen Australia for her Religious Historical Horror feature film titled HELOISE.
More recently, Jorrden’s contained contemporary ONE OF THE GREATS was optioned by Future Pictures (Late Night with the Devil) and incel horror TRADITIONAL was recently announced as a finalist for the AACTA Wake in Fright Initiative. Jorrden has an extensive slate of fresh and brilliant work - multi-genre with broad appeal from comedy, horror, historical fiction, drama and suspense.
