Jacinta is the international Associate Director of Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Australia, Japan and South Korea with additional work on productions in Cologne, Germany and for the World Tour. She is also the Australian Associate Director of Matilda the Musical. Jacinta’s previous credits include Beetlejuice the Musical (Associate Director), Billy Elliot (Resident Director), and co-Director of the world premiere of the Air Supply musical All Out of Love. She was the Resident Director for the 2018 Australian production of Mamma Mia!, Assistant then Resident Director for the inaugural Australian and New Zealand seasons of Matilda the Musical, and Assistant Director on the world premiere of Groundhog Day at the Old Vic Theatre in London, for which she was awarded the inaugural Baylis residency. Jacinta directed The Hatpin at the Victorian College of the Arts, was Resident Director for the Australian touring production of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced and Assistant Director on Miracle City at the Hayes Theatre, before which she worked as a performer and produced and directed several independent productions for stage and screen. Jacinta trained in Classical Acting (London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Art), has a BA from The University of Sydney (Film & Performance), and studied Suzuki and Viewpoints at the Saratoga International Theatre Institute.
