Tim Maddock Tim Maddock consolidated his reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting theatre directors when he was invited by Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton to direct Daniel Keene’s The Serpent’s Teeth – Soldiers for Sydney Theatre Company in 2008. As a founding member of Adelaide’s acclaimed independent theatre company Red Shed, Tim produced, directed and designed over 20 productions for the company from 1988 to 1993. He went on to become co-Artistic Director of Red Shed (1993-1995) and Artistic Director (1996-1998). From 1998 to 2001, Tim was Resident Director of Adelaide’s innovative Brink Productions. His other recent directing credits include Andree Greenwell’s The Hanging of Jean Lee at the Sydney Opera House (2006) and the NIDA graduating student production of Louis Nowra’s Cosi (2005). In 2006, Tim was Head of Performance at Wollongong University’s Faculty of Creative Arts.
