Devoted to developing new works which satirise contemporary issues through his own High Performance Company, Michael Dally is an exceptionally talented cabaret performer, writer and director. His show Vaudeville X gained a cult following with acclaimed seasons at the Malthouse Theatre (2006) and Adelaide Cabaret Festival (2007). The show was nominated for four Green Room Awards, winning Best Original Songs in Cabaret. Michael teamed with Comedy Inc star, Paul McCarthy to develop his company’s second show, Intimate Apparel. His solo show Death in White Linen, premiered at La Mama Theatre in 2008, and was then staged at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. Michael directed The Soubrettes in Cabaret Tingel Tangel, which has toured internationally and won a Green Room Award for Best Cabaret. He has written and performed two popular solo shows, Bad Men and I Knew A Diva. Michael has performed with many of Australia’s leading theatre companies and starred in the Australian cult mockumentary Bigger Than Tina.
