One of Australia's best internationally known choreographers, John "Cha Cha" O'Connell's work has been in film (Australia, Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, Shall We Dance, Enchanted, Muriel's Wedding, Strictly Ballroom, Razzle Dazzle), choreographing for artists including Nicole Kidman, Toni Collette, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Sarandon. His choreography is also in demand for the theatre where he has worked both in musicals (The Rocky Horror Show, Company, Keating) and legitimate theatre (Tales from the Vienna Woods, The Convict's Opera) and various other forums (such as the Academy Awards (the Oscars), Il Divo, and commercials
( Chanel, Oreos). He works throughout Australia and in the United States, but has also worked in Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur and Vienna. John also has his own show, Mr Cha Cha Says Dance!
